APHA/Baxter Awards 2008

  • 2008 APHA/Baxter Award Nominations Now Open (442 kb PDF)

    Nominations for the APHA / BAXTER AWARDS 2008 are now open. Please find the awards criteria attached.

    APHA would like to encourage all current members, large and small hospitals and day surgeries, for profit and not for profit hospitals, groups as well as independent facilities, located in both metropolitan and rural areas throughout Australia to submit an entry in the following awards categories:

    Clinical Excellence
    Ambulatory Care Award
    Community Involvement Award

    IDENTIFY your hospital as an industry leader
    CREATE recognition for your hospital’s community work
    CELEBRATE your achievement via the APHA / Baxter awards

    Entries close on 30th July 2008.

    Hardcopy and Softcopy nominations should be addressed to Goran Josifovski.

Code of Conduct

The Voluntary Code of Conduct for Hospital Purchaser Provider Agreement Negotiations between Private Hospitals and Private Health Insurers is designed to encourage 'best practice' in contracting, and is principally concerned with the negotiation process.

APHA/Baxter Awards for Quality & Excellence

In 1988, the APHA instituted a program of Awards to recognise private hospitals and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to patient treatment and care, as well as the management of hospital facilities. These Awards are now part of the tradition of APHA.
