The Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA) is delighted to have reaffirmed its support of the Private Mental Health Alliance (PMHA).
APHA chief executive Michael Roff today signed a one-year extension of the long-running agreement.
The Australian Medical Association (AMA), Private Healthcare Australia (PHA) and the Australian Government have also confirmed their ongoing support.
Upon signing the agreement, Mr Roff said: “PMHA provides unique forum for enabling us to work with health funds, clinicians and consumers.
“It has been a valuable source of consensus statements and guidelines and joint advice to government.”
Established in 1996, the PMHA brings together providers, payers and consumers and carers to work on issues affecting Australia’s health environment.
